Creatures of Ileyeah by BloodhoundOmega Creatures of Ileyeah by BloodhoundOmega
ATTENTION! That image is freaking huge.... and it still is lacking details. >_<

For my sake... please please full view this, even if it's only just a sketch! ;_;

This is the result of about two weeks drawing at least a sketch every day. A sketch usually contained four till five critters, which have then finally all been puzzled together to this giant piece.

To explain... so many of my personal projects just died... picture series which I had in mind, my own homepage, comics and what not... I didn't want to let this one die as well and by the gods... I hope I will find the time, the will and endurance to colour this giant piece of creatures.

What you see here are a total of 41 critters, all designed for Ileyeah, the homeworld of my Bloodhounds. Some of those designs have been created up till 12 years ago, some have been born last week, some didn't change at all over the years and some can not be recognized.

Here comes now a list of names and dates and after I found a little rest, I promise to upload the single sketch pages to my scraps, so that you can have a better look at them.

Oh, btw. the numbers on the left is a scale in metres.

The creatures are mostly sorted by the area in which they appear, but some wouldn't fit into their group because of their size. I will add a list of names and locations to the scans I'm going to upload to scraps later.

Here only the names of the creatures, sorted by their habitat and their size (Bloodhounds excluded. those have only been added for you as a size reference):

This is something I've always needed to do; a height chart of some sorts, it'd be a huge undertaking but I'm confident enough now!

Absolutely fantastic work; very lovely varied species here!

No doubt about that, but back then when this was created I had no tablet. Can you imagine the pain in the ass and especially the amount of time it would have taken? xD Maybe I'll find the time to alter this piece bit by bit in the future though now that I don't rely on the mouse for digital colouring anymore.

lol oh, that is a notable detail. yeah, that would have taken some time xD
Unless you would have been able to do loads of paths, this shit would have fucked you up ; )
congrats for the decision to leave the mouseslavery O:

As a creature artist, I have to say that I'm floored by your compilation. Gorgeous anatomical work in all the creatures; you obviously know your stuff. I'm going to have to challenge myself like this :)

OMG THIS IS AMAZING! The detail on their bodies-so MANY TOO!!- and the way they all look like you took a good deal of time to draw them...This is just so breathtaking, you must've put alot of effort into everyday you added another drawing.

I'm stunned! D8=

was wondering if you perhaps have individual ref sheets of each species ?

I have the single sheets of around 4-5 creatures per page in my scraps. Some of them have been doodled a bit more detailed as well in the past, but I don't have detailed ref sheets of all of them. Well, yet... *g* All I can do so far is ask you to have a look at my scraps. :)
