Nopey Skeleton by BloodhoundOmega Nopey Skeleton by BloodhoundOmega
This was actually finished back in September, when I had been released from hospital.

In my art I have always neglected things such anatomical studies and it shows, so I wanted to slowly work on cathing up on that matter. Unfortunately I am the world's slowest sketcher so something like this takes forever. XD Still I enjoyed this challenge a lot and I really hope I will be able to do more of these in the future. *rambles* XD

Also, follow me on my Tumblr! It's the place I keep posting most of my stuff, even if there wasn't that much to post lately. [link]

Wow, this is looking really neat BHO! I should really spend time on stuff like this too. xD
The only thing I am thinking about is the head/neck area... The skull don't really seem to be following the contours if the face; We aren't given an idea what those "lumps" on top of the head is. It is just really thick skin?
I think the tip of the nose-bone, would be better off pointing a bit more down, so it don't give the impression that it might stab the creature through the flesh.
And last, perhaps the "spikes" on the neck vertebra should reach closer to the skin. [link] [link]
Still, I think it look amazing! :]

The lumps on the face are meant to be toughened skin and cartilage. As far as I know those don't show up in skeletal structures? :)
As for the bone under the nose, yeah, you absolutely got a point there! :D Thanks!
Somebody else mentioned that the bones growing out of the vertebrae might be unnecessary where they are now, but should be more dominant in the area between the shoulders, so I gotta work on that one, too... somehow. X3
