Bloodhound - Cavern Subspecies by BloodhoundOmega Bloodhound - Cavern Subspecies by BloodhoundOmega
Since they only were recently fleshed out the Cave Hounds haven’t changed as much as their daylight-loving cousins.

Cave-Hounds have developed from Mountain-Hounds a long time ago and are one of the so called “lesser” Hound groups, as they are comparably rare and actually never to be found anywhere else except on Ileyeah.

Due to their subterranean lifestyle their eyes started to regress. Instead they developed sensible sensory organs in the face to aid their already excellent hearing. The bioluminiscence in their skin is mostly used to encourage plants to grow underneath the earth.

Cave Hounds are pacifists and not prone to engage in any kind of conflict with others.

I really like how their faces seem to be partially inspired by bat faces. It looks really neat.

I'm so glad you decided to create more Hounds. I was missing them terribly

The variety you have with these subspecies is great, you did your research and it shows. Some adaptations are obvious like thicker fur for colder climates, but I like the more subtle features you included like ear sizes, claw types, and my favorite, the sensory tentacles on the faces of these guys. :) While anthropomorphic canines are a dime a dozen, the anatomical variety and personal touches you've added to your Bloodhounds really sets them apart and makes them much more than just anthro dogs.

Reminds me of Falmer from Skyrim.
